WORCESTER-Wallace P. Soucy, 60, of Worcester, died Tuesday, June 10th in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves his mother, Josephine M. (Bisi) Soucy; two sisters, Susan L. wife of Joel E. Richardson and Deborah A. wife of Ronald R. Orcutt, all of Worcester; three nephews, Neal F. and Brian J. Richardson and Joseph T. Orcutt; a niece, Julie A. Orcutt; a grandnephew, Shay Thomas Richardson; his beloved dog Rex; and many friends, especially at Coldwell Banker.
He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Wallace F. Soucy and was a 1966 graduate of South High School and a 1968 graduate of Quinsigamond Community College where he received his degree in business. Mr. Soucy was employed by Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage for 20 years as a manager. He was an active member at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, volunteering at BINGO. Mr. Soucy loved to ski and did so locally at Mount Wachusett, making many friends there. He also loved classical music, introduced many people to it and took his mother to as many concerts as he could. Mr. Soucy enjoyed planting a vegetable garden every year. He was a devoted son and adored his rescued Doberman, Rex and the many other Dobermans he had rescued from the Doberman Rescue League.
The funeral is Friday, June 13th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, June 12th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
