Obituary

Russell E. Peck, 102, of the Village at Waterman Lake in Smithfield, a retired tool maker for B.A. Ballou, Co., died Sunday at his home. He was the husband of Sara “Sally” (Sherring) Peck and the late Deborah (Caines) Peck.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Jesse & Carrie (Franklin) Peck. He had been a resident of Warwick and Cranston before moving to Smithfield. He was a former member of the Philip Memorial Baptist Church Men’s Choir and was a member of the Cranston Christian Fellowship.
Besides his wife he is survived by a son Walter E. Peck and his wife Yvonne of New Braunfels, TX, his stepchildren Victor G. Sherring and his wife Ina of Glocester and Donna J. Arnold and her husband Stevens, of Cranston, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Harold Peck and Marion Hodgeman.
His funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11am in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, RI. Burial will be in Stevens Corner Cemetery, Rehoboth, MA. Visitation Wednesday 10 -11am. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Home & Hospice, 169 George Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860.
