Evelyn (Stafford) Dube, 97, formerly of 100 High Street, Berlin, NH died on Saturday June 7, 2008 at the Morrison Nursing Home in Whitefield, NH. She was a lifelong resident of Berlin. She was born in Berlin on October 7, 1910, the daughter of David and Charlotte (Charlton) Stafford. She was a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church and the widow of Rudolphe Dube, who died in 1970. Evelyn graduated from Berlin High School and attended Keene College and had worked at the Berlin Public Library for several years. She was a past member of St. Barnabas Auxiliary and Crafts Club and the Berlin Woman’s Club.
She is survived by a brother Edward R. Stafford of Minnesota and by several nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: There will be no calling hours. A Private Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Bryant Funeral Home in Berlin.
