Dora M. Riccio, 81 of Medford, died Friday after a long illness in the New England Home for the Deaf, Danvers, MA.
Born in Medford, she was a life long resident and the daughter of the late Giovina (Leone) and Joseph Marotta. Dora was the Proprietor of Dora’s Catering in Chelsea for 20 years. Devoted mother of Barbara Roberts of Medford, James Riccio of New York City and Diane “DeeDee” Serra of Buffalo, NY. Loving grandmother of Mark J. Roberts MD, Elena and Matthew Riccio, Veronica, Gina, and Dante Serra. Sister of Olga Kolesar of Reading, and the late Louise Davey, Sue Bohlin, Antonio, Alfred, Ralph and Joseph Marotta. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Wednesday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
