Pamela J. LABRIE, 54, of Log Road, died peacefully on Saturday, in RI Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the loving wife of Gary P. Labrie for the past 34 years.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Barbara J. (Bottomley) Jones and the late Wilford B. Winchell. She lived in Smithfield for the last 34 years after previously residing in North Providence.
Pam was the Manager of Franchising for New England Pantry in Norwood, MA. Prior to her current position, she worked for Newport Creamery for 23 years. A life long member of the Greystone Primitive Methodist Church, she was a past President of the church’s Puritan Club and a member of the choir.
Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by her children; Joe Labrie of New York, NY and Jessica Labrie of North Providence; sister, Laurie Jeffrey of Indialantic, FL; brother, Thomas Jones of Coral Springs, FL; grandchildren, Cody and Connor Lester; and many nieces, nephews, and godchildren. She was also the sister of the late Stephen K. Winchell of Clarkston, MI.
She was a founding member of the Calamari Club, loved camping and cruising, and enjoyed spending time with her family and wide circle of friends.
Her funeral will begin Tuesday at 10am at the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville with a funeral service at 11am in Trinity Episcopal Church, 251 Danielson Pike, North Scituate.
