Marcus L. Beals, of Foxborough formerly of Plymouth, passed away on June 5th, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Ethna (Andrew) Beals. Father of Marcus A. Beals and wife Carole of Middleboro, Tom Beals of Fort Myers, FL and Claudia Chani and husband John of Foxborough. He also leaves 2 grandchildren, Philip and Daniel Beals and 2 nieces. He was brother of the late Charles F. Beals. The son of the late Marcus L. Sr. and Mildred I. (Carney) Beals, Marcus was born in Malden, MA. He graduated from Malden High School and Bentley School of Accounting and Finance and worked in the Stock Transfer Division for the First National Bank of Boston from 1941 thru 1984. Marcus served in the US Army during WWII. He enjoyed history, sports, gardening and working around the house. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, June 12th at 10 o’clock at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Charity of one’s choice.
