LONDONDERRY, NH: William A. Poole, 58, of Londonderry, died Tuesday June 3, 2008 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry. Mr. Poole was born in Lowell, MA a son of Benjamin Forbes and Cecilia Poole, and had resided in Londonderry for the last 21 years, prior to that living in Methuen and Lawrence, MA. Mr. Poole worked as an estimator for Lenfest Contracting in Salem, NH for the previous 4 years, and prior to that he had worked delivering oil for Leone’s Oil Company in Methuen, MA for 20 years. Mr. Poole enjoyed watching horse racing, car racing and most sports, loved to go to Foxwoods and enjoyed traveling. Mr. Poole was a member of the International Brotherhood and Teamsters Local 49. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Poole is survived by his wife of 21 years Linda K. (Burleson) Poole, one son Jason J. Poole of Medford, MA; one daughter Renee Gagnon-Poole of Auburn, NH; three step-sons Frank C. Lenfest, Jr. of Londonderry and Mark K. Lenfest and his wife Lisa of Salem, NH and Richard Theberge of Atkinson, NH; two step-daughters, Kimberly A. Lenfest of Londonderry and Melissa Gagnon of Auburn, NH; 2 uncles, William Poole of Nashua and Arthur Wyman of Methuen, MA and 5 grandchildren, Devin S. Lenfest, Kelsey L. Lenfest, Isabella G. Lenfest, Alexander M. Lenfest and Avery J. Ryan. Mr. Poole is also survived by his special dog Max.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd, Londonderry, is assisting the family with arrangements.
