Murphy, Eleanor T. (O'Donnell) of Norwell, formerly of Hull, passed away June 5, 2008 at age 104.
Wife of the late Paul J. Murphy. Loving mother of Marilyn DeCosta of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Elaine and her late husband John Higgins of Norwell. Sister of the late Katherine Cuming. Also lovingly survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
For 17 years Eleanor was the secretary at Hull High School. She was very active in the Town of Hull, including her town officer position as Library Trustee. As a parishioner of St. Mary's Parish in Hull, she volunteered in the CCD program and was a member of the Sodality. She also volunteered and supported the American Red Cross.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Monday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann's Church, Hull at 10 AM.
Visiting hours Sunday 4-6 PM.
Burial in Hull Village Cemetery.
