Mrs. Joanna P. (Peccerillo) Scannell, 76, of Boca Raton, Florida, formerly of Lawrence, Massachusetts, passed away on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008 at the Mass General Hospital in Boston, MA.
She was born in Lawrence, Massachusetts to the late Joseph and Rose (D'Arezzo) Peccerillo. Mrs. Scannell was educated in Lawrence and was a graduate of Saint Mary's High School in 1949. She was an attendant of Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence, MA. and Saint Ambrose Church in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Mrs. Scannell worked as a Financial Analyst for United Technologies, Pratt & Whitney Division for many years until her retirement.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 9th, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, Saint Theresa Church, 22 Plymouth Street, Methuen, MA.
Burial will follow at the Bellevue Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
