Nettie Pate Brown, 86, of Fitzgerald died Saturday, May 31, 2008 at her home.
Graveside services will be held at 10 AM Monday, June 2, at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Annette Brooks officiating. The family will receive friends from 8:30 until 9:30 Monday morning at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brown was born August 4, 1921 in Turner County, Georgia to the late Maxie and Alma Riddle Pate. Living in Ben Hill County most of her life, she was a member of Pine Level United Methodist Church where she taught the Ladies Sunday School Class. She was a former member of the Home Demonstration Club.
She is survived by Sons: William (Deenna) Brown and Harold (Julie) Brown, both of Fitzgerald; Daughter: Alice Fletcher of Fitzgerald: 4 Grandchildren and 5 Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Brown, a grandson, Tommy Parrish, 5 Brothers and 2 Sisters.
