Malcolm C Stewart 90Malcolm Stewart of Westwood formerly of Needham died on Saturday March 1st at the Clark House Nursing Home at Foxhill Village in Westwood. Born in Westwood, Malcolm was a resident of Needham from 1927-1993 until retiring to Westwood. Prior to WW11, he founded the Stewart Beverage Company of Needham until the late 1950s. In the Mid 1950s he founded the Stewart Knife and Saw company. The company acquired the Boston Saw and Knife company in the Early 1960s. His son Glenn joined the firm in 1971 and worked with his dad until his retirement in 1993 and still runs the company in Needham. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy J (Hartshorn) Stewart. Malcolm was the father of Glenn D Stewart of Walpole and Susan S Stutzman of West Chester, Iowa. He is also survived by 4 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday March 15, 10:00 AM, at the Congregational Church of Needham, 1154 Great Plain Ave. Burial will be private. Arrangements by the Eaton Funeral Home of Needham.
