Lillian D. (Drouin) Dufault, age 87, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at Wingate Healthcare Facility in Lowell, surrounded by her family after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Roland Dufault.
Lillian was born in Lowell on Dec. 18, 1920, the daughter of the late Maurice and Rose (Fisette) Drouin. She was a long time resident of Tyngsboro and was a communicant of St. Mary Magdalen Parish.
Lillian was a member of the Tyngsboro Senior Citizens Club and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son and a daughter-in-law, Robert G. and Theresa N. (Perry) Dufault of Dracut; a brother, Gerard "Yogi" Drouin of Dracut, two grandchildren, Robert Dufault, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Tyngsboro, and Jo Anne Hamilton and her husband Gary of Pepperell; five great grandchildren, Collette Dupont, Danielle Ketron, Derek Murphy, Jacqueline Dufault and Lindsey Livingston; four great great grandchildren, Lillian Nora Dupont, Caleb Dupont, Tristen Ketron and James Dylan Livingston; also many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Rita Marchand.
Relatives and friends may call at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell, on Sunday, June 1 from 3 to 6pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Mary Magdalen Church, Dracut. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery.
