Obituary

WORCESTER – Adrian Suarez, Sr., 46, of 35 Louise St., died Friday, May 30, in UMass/Memorial Healthcare, 119 Belmont Street, after an illness.

He leaves 3 children, Adrian Suarez, Jr., Edwin Suarez and Anna Suarez, all of Worcester; another son, Miguel Rivera of Worcester, whom he adopted; a brother, Hiram Suarez of Fall River; 6 sisters, Emilia, Migdalia and Elizabeth Suarez, all of Worcester, and Dinelia, Clarabel and Marianela Suarez, all of Fall River; 4 grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his brother Efrain Suarez of Worcester in 1999.

He was born in Puerto Rico, a son of Daniel and Iris (Violet) Suarez and lived here since his childhood. He graduated from Burncoat High School. He served in the Army reserves in the 1980’s.

Mr. Suarez was a self-employed car mechanic He also repainted damaged cars. He was a member of Iglesia Pentecostal.

The funeral will be held Tuesday, June 3, at 11:00 AM in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St.,Webster. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. A calling period will be from l0:00 to 11:00 AM Tuesday in the funeral home.
