Mr. Willie Wynn, Jr. was born to the late Willie and Lizzie Mae Wynn in Huntsville, Alabama on February 1, 1937. He passed this life on May 24, 2008 in Huntsville Hospital.
He was preceded in death by a son, Vincent Wynn.
He confessed hope in Christ at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a faithful member.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and faithful wife, Rosetta H. Wynn; six loving children; Janice L. Fletcher of Ardmore, Alabama, DueRay (Cherelle) Wynn of Syracuse, New York, Tina Marie Wynn of Memphis, Tennessee, Marion (Ray) Cartwright, Jackie (Robert) Pope, both of Huntsville, Alabama and Angela (Robert) Zeigler of Wetumpka, Alabama; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Wynn of Huntsville, Alabama; seven loving stepchildren for twenty-seven years; Sherry (Greg) Jones of Huntsville, Alabama, Vincent (Akweta) Humphrey of Madison, Alabama, Kelvin (Cindy) Humphrey of Huntsville, Alabama, Jacqueline (Bobby) Pruitt of New Market, Alabama, Ronnie (Aretha) Humphrey, Jr. of Toney, Alabama, Jarrod Humphrey of New Market, Alabama and Corey (Tenitta) Humphrey of Huntsville, Alabama; two-sisters-in-law: Anna Lee Holloway of Madison, Alabama and Nellie Howard of Las Vegas, Nevada; three brothers-in-law: Henry (Cora) Holloway of San Bernadino, California, Gordon (Dorothy) Holloway and Charles Steger both of Huntsville, Alabama; two aunts: Myrtle Crow of Pensacola, Florida and Mable Jordan of Nashville, Tennessee; forty grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; two goddaughters: Rachael Michelle Fields and Tara Rice and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mr. Willie Wynn, Jr. will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2008 from the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Wallace Steele officiating.
Interment will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens.
The remains of Mr. Wynn will be placed in the church one hour prior to funeral time.
