Obituary

In Taunton, May 24, 2008 Raymond E. died in Morton Hospital after a brief illness at the age of 83. Raymond was the husband of the late Betty (Lounsbury) Brinard. He was born in Attleboro to his late parents Joseph & Katherine (Fischbach) Brinard. He was educated in Attleboro schools. After high school Raymond served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy. Raymond has lived most of his life in Taunton and was formerly of Cherry St. He worked as a jewelry polisher in Attleboro and later was employed at Benjamins Restaurant in Maintenance. Raymond enjoyed going to the Raynham Dog Track was an avid golfer at Parker Golf Course in Taunton and was a member of the P.A.C.C. Raymond leaves his son Donald Brinard and his wife Marilyn of Taunton. His Grandchildren Ryan Brinard and Courtney Graham & her husband Dennis all of Taunton and his late Granddaughter Heather Brinard. His brothers Kenneth Brinard of Kissemee, FL. and Donald Brinard of Banner Elk, N.C. and the late Richard Brinard. A funeral home service will be held on Thurs., May 29th at 9am. in the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. in Taunton. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Weds. from 5-8pm. Interment in Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton. Donations may be made in Raymond’s memory to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 31160, Hartford, CT. 06150-1160
