James P. Lyons, 90, passed away at home in Medford on May 26th, 2008. He was born in Medford to his parents Thomas and Catherine (Keenan) Lyons. James was raised in Medford and is a graduate of Medford High School. He worked for the Medford Housing Authority for over 30 years and had previously been a carpenter. During World War II, James served in the United States Army. He is survived by his son, James R. Lyons of Medford and by his grandsons John and Paul Lyons of Guilderland, New York. Along with his parents, James was predeceased by his wife Margaret M. (Foley) Lyons. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his funeral service conducted in the A.J. Breslin & Son Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden at Medford line on Friday May 30th at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday May 29th from 4-7 PM.
