Abraham L. Walsh, 83, of Irwinville, died Saturday, May 24, 2008 in Riverview, Florida.
Funeral services will be held 3 P.M. Sunday, June 1 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with Rev. J.W. Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held 7-9 Saturday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Walsh was born September 21, 1924 to the late Elbert and Mary Theo Kitchens Walsh. He lived in Florida for the past 25 years from Fitzgerald Mr. Walsh was a former employee of the Fitzgerald Mills and sold produce. He was a member of Englewood Baptist Church.
Mr. Walsh is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gerald & Brenda Walsh of Riverview, FL; grandchildren, Wayne S. Walsh and Wanda Carver of Irwinville; great-grandchildren, Adam Wilkerson, Marcus Wilkerson and Brittney Carver. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lula Erwin Walsh.
