William H. Seabury, Jr., 97, formerly of Long Highway, Little Compton, RI passed away at Grand Islander Center, Middletown, RI. He was husband of the late Mildred A. (Wordell) Seabury.
Born in Little Compton, son of the late William H. and Josephine (Burlingame) Seabury, he was a lifelong resident of Tiverton and Little Compton. Prior to retirement he was a fisherman. Mr. Seabury was well known for making Seabury Sausages, which he made for over 37 years. In his later years he made macramé chairs and sold them at yard sales from his home.
Survivors include 3 nieces: Elaine (Simmons) Shurtleff of Tiverton, RI, Patricia (Rounds) McCoy of Portsmouth, RI and Carol Ann (Rounds) Sinclair of Bristol, RI; and many great nieces and nephews.
He was brother of the late Grace Simmons, Beatrice Rounds and Susan Brayton.
