Obituary

Frank R. Staskawicz, 78, passed away on May 20th, 2008 at the Lighthouse Nursing Care Center in Revere. He was born in Boston on May 11th, 1930 to his parents Julius and Anna (Kruptzwa) Staskawicz. Frank has been a resident of Malden for the past 5 years. He was previously a resident of Medford and a long-time resident of Everett. He worked as a Mechanical Inspector in the electronic equipment industry for 35 years, retiring from the Varian Company. During the Korean War, Frank served in the United States Army. He is a member of the National Rifle Association and a member of the Melrose Fish and Game Club. He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Staskawicz of Weymouth; his grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Daniella, Michaela and Nicholas; and by his siblings, Stanley Staskawicz of Melrose and Helen Abramoski of Hyde Park. Along with his parents, Frank was predeceased by his wife, Elvira A. (DiMare) Staskawicz; his daughter Bonnie Gennetti; and by his brother Billie Staskawicz. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services from the A.J. Breslin & Son Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden at Medford line on Friday May 23rd at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 9 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the Mass on Friday only.
