LAWRENCE – Angelina T. “Angie” (Censullo) LoPiano age 83 died peacefully Wednesday May 21, 2008 at Caritas Holy Family Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born and educated in Lawrence, MA, she was the daughter of the late Raphael and Angela (Fina) Censullo. A homemaker, she was a parishioner at Corpus Christi Parish, Holy Rosary Church and member of the St. Rita’s Sodality. She enjoyed singing, dancing and music, was a great cook and loved the holidays and celebrating with her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She was also a member of the Sons of Italy and the Lawrence Senior Center. She was a Latch Key Volunteer, loved people and life and brought laughter to many.
The widow of former Lawrence Police Captain Samuel M. LoPiano, she leaves 4 daughters Lorraine T. Jurdi and her husband Clifford of Exeter, NH, Nancy M. Sanderson and her husband Lewis of Methuen, Angela L. Morency of Newburyport, MA and Pauline L. Mancini and her husband Louis of Salisbury, MA.
1 son Leo S. Lopiano and his wife Maria of North Andover, MA.
9 grandchildren Edward, Katherine, Laura, James, Brigitte, Louis, Leigh, Tina and Samuel.
1 great-granddaughter Lila
Angie also leaves her special friend Joseph DiZazzo and several nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by her 2 sisters and 5 brothers.
ARRANGEMENTS: Memorials can be made to The Dream Factory of Merrimack Valley 46 Salem Street Methuen, MA 01844 or to a Charity of One’s Choice. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish/Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence with burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery also in Lawrence, MA.
