Joan M. Micheli, 68 of Malden, died Monday after a long courageous battle with cancer at home. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Theresa (Power) and Skeffington.
Beloved wife of James Micheli. Devoted mother of Teri Micheli, James Micheli Jr., and his wife Crystal, Joey Micheli all of Malden, Jeanne LaFauci and her husband Jay of Melrose, Toni Trubiano and her husband John of Groton, Sandi Micheli of Southbridge. Loving grandmother of Laura, James, Christopher, Nicholas, and Anthony Micheli, Marissa and Adrianna Trubiano, Azhur and Ainsley. Sister of the late Ann Taurinsky, Bill, Bob, and Jack Skeffington. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Saturday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 770 Salem St., Malden at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday 4-8. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
