Genevieve A. (Wilczek) Mozden of Newton Centre died on Sunday, May 18th at The Boston Medical Center. She was 83 years old. Born in Palmer Massachusetts, Mrs. Mozden was a graduate of Palmer High School. In 1947, she married her husband of 61 years, Dr. Peter J. Mozden. In 1961 Dr. and Mrs. Mozden settled in Newton Centre, where they have made their home for 47 years. Mrs. Mozden was a member of Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Parish in Newton Upper Falls. The beloved wife for 61 years of Peter J. Mozden MD of Newton Centre, she was the loving mother of Sandra Mozden Cheney and her husband Ralph of Carmel ME and Martha Mozden Warner and her husband Monty of Sequoit, NY. Sister of the late Ann Meyers and Theophil Wilczek. Dear grandmother of Claire, Eve and Luke Mozden. Also survived by 3 nieces. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Friday, May 23rd at 10:30 Am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Church at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4-7 PM. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery.
