MILLIS___Jeanette M. (Beauregard) Smith, 86, of Millis, formerly of Worcester died Thursday May 15, 2008 in Kindred Hospital, Natick.
She leaves his husband of 54 Years, Robert J. Smith, two sisters, Alice Brodeur of Shrewsbury and Cecile Taylor of Lincoln, R.I. and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Evelyn Johnson. She was born and raised in Worcester, a daughter of Alderic and Eva (David) Beauregard and has lived in Millis since 1956.
Mrs. Smith worked at Norton Co. for many years and before then worked for the former Pullman Standard Co. She was a graduate of Worcester Girl’s Trade High School and the Salter Business School. Jeanette was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Millis and was a former member of St. Joseph Church, Worcester.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday May 21 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street, Worcester with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 35 Hamilton Street, Worcester. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday May 21 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
