New Bedford-Edna M. Wright age 99 years died May 3rd at Sacred Heart Home.
She was the widow of Horace A. Wright. She was the sister of Caroline Lafferty of Peterbrough, NH. Stepmother of Elyse A. Wright of San Diego, CA.and She is also survived by 2 nieces and her dear friends Lucille Connolly and Len Curran.
Mrs. Wright was the daughter of the late Henry G. and Mary A. (Alexander) Matthews. She was born in New Bedford, and lived in this area all of her life. Mrs. Wright was a telephone instructor at Bell Telephone until her retirement.
Mrs. Wright’s Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Church at 10 A.M. Interment of Ashes will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Relatives and Friends are invited to meet at church.
In accordance with her wishes she was cremated.
