Methuen, MA – Lydia H. (Frangente) Lugli, 86, died Thursday May 15, 2008 at Caritas Holy Family Hospital.
Mrs. Lugli was born in Lawrence daughter of Louis and Margharita (Mancini) Frangente. She graduated from Lawrence High School and Northeastern University to become a dental hygienist.
Mrs. Lugli had also been employed with the Methuen School System as a Teachers Assistant before retiring.
Lydia enjoyed reading, traveling, and most importantly her family and as a grandmother spending quality time with her grandson.
A longtime Methuen resident, Lydia leaves her husband of 61 years William L. Lugli, Sr., one son and daughter-in-law William L. Jr. and his wife Jeanne of Methuen, and adored grandson Evan, as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Lydia was predeceased by brothers Arthur, Darwin, and Francis Frangente.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday morning at 9 o’clock in Saint Monica’s Church of Methuen followed by entombment in St. Mary-Immaculate Conception Mausoleum.
Friends may pay their respects to her family on Wednesday from 4:30-6:30 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
