Shrewsbury—Rose Simonian, 84, died May 13, 2008, at Holy Trinity Nursing Home. She leaves a brother Manuel “Manny” Simonian of Shrewsbury, a sister Mary Tarallo of Worcester, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and Godchildren. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Simon and Margaret (Aslanian) Simonian and was a graduate of Shrewsbury High School. Rose was a bookkeeper at Harr Motors for many years, working her way up to office manager and executive secretary to the president of AMI. Rose was a member of the Armenian Church of Our Saviour and AVAKS. She loved Bingo, Foxwoods, traveling, and cruises and was dearly loved by her family.
Funeral services will be held Monday, May 19, 11 a.m. in the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday 5-8 p.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester.
