Ducharme of Brockton, February 23, 2003, Melvin Ducharme, Jr., 36 years. Beloved only son of Linda (Molander) and her husband Melvin Ducharme, Sr. of Brockton. Loving father of Desiree, Allan and James Ducharme all of Brockton. Brother of Lisa of Bourne; Sheryl of Taunton; Pamela of Brockton; Wendy of Brockton and Michelle of New Bedford. Dear friend of Brenda Cummings (mother of his children).

Funeral Service in the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Sunday at 3:30 pm. Burial at a later date. Visitation Sunday 12 noon to 4 pm. A social gathering will be held following Service in the Knights of Columbus Hall, Stoughton.

Obituary

Mr. Ducharme died unexpectedly Sunday in Route 24, Canton, while trying to help a motorist. Born in Brockton, son of Linda (Molander) and Melvin Ducharme, Sr. He attended Brockton schools. He was self-employed as a maintenance/handy man. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid fan of the 49ers and Harley Davidsonand also collected eagles as a hobby.

He is survived by his parents Linda (Molander) and Melvin Ducharme, Sr. of Brockton, 3 children, Desiree, Allan and James all of Brockton, 5 sisters, Lisa of Bourne, Sheryl of Taunton, Pamela and Wendy of Brockton and Michelle of New Bedford. Dear friend of Brenda Cummings (mother of his children), 5 nieces, 1 nephew, aunts and uncles.

Grandson of the late Walter and Grace Molander and Helen and Emerson Ducharme, Sr.
