Obituary

Mr. Lucien P. Lambert, 87, of Gorham, NH passed away on May 10, 2008 at the St. Vincent de Paul Healthcare Center in Berlin, NH. He was born in Berlin, NH on May 16, 2008 the son of Desire and Leda (Demers) Lambert. He was a World War II Veteran and was in the Airborne Rangers during the Korean War. He was a member of the White Mountain Post # 2520 VFW. Mr. Lambert was a former manager of the First National Store in Gilman, VT, a co-owner of the Riverside Market in Berlin, NH and was a letter carrier with the Berlin Post Office for 26 years.

He leaves his wife Noella Esslinger Lambert of Gorham, NH; 2 daughters Noelle E. Strauss of Stow, MA and Janet Runci and husband Michael of Lakewood Ranch, FL; granddaughters Heidi Harwitz and husband Jeff of Brewster, NY, Heather Austin of Boston, MA and Katie Murphy and husband Adam of Manchester, NH; 2 great grandsons Joshua Hartwitz and Austin Murphy; a brother Roland Lambert and his wife Carol of Berlin, NH; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter Barbara Austin, a grandson Benjamin Strauss and his parents Desire and Leda Lambert.

At his request, private services will be held at a later date.
