In Boston, May 7, 2008 Jackie Perry age 70 died suddenly in Tufts N.E. Medical Center. He was the husband of Natalie (Duarte) Perry. He was born in Taunton to the late John & Pauline (Pina Neves) Perry. Jackie was educated in Taunton schools. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict Era. Jackie worked as a laborer in construction and also as a bartender. He enjoyed playing cards and fishing. He was the father of Jackie Perry Jr. of Taunton, Theodore Perry of East Bridgewater, Shane Perry of San Francisco, Paul Perry of East Bridgewater, Anita Perry of Taunton, Doreen Perry of Taunton, Geraldine Perry of Virginia and the late Vinny Duarte. Jackie was the Grandfather of 14 and great of 5. His siblings are Flora Burgo, Julia Pina, Jean Barrows, Leo Perry all of Taunton, and Dorothy Barrows of E. Taunton, Margie Barbosa of New Bedford and the late Christine Reaves, John, Alfred, Roger, Frankie, Georgie, Robert and Billy Perry. Funeral home service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. in Taunton on Weds., May 14th at 11:30am. Visiting hours on Tues. from 6-8pm. Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton.
