North Andover, MA – Frank J. Sullivan, Jr., 88, died Wednesday May 7, 2008 at the Lawrence General Hospital.
Frank was born in Lawrence son of Frank J., Sr. and Agnes (McKenna) Sullivan. For many years he had been employed in the Calender Room at the former Bolta Products which was a division of General Tire.
A longtime communicant of St. Mary’s Church and an usher there, he was a member of Methuen council # 4027 Knights of Columbus and Division # 8 A.O.H. Ancient Order of Hibernians in Lawrence.
For 41 years Frank assisted local funeral homes.
During World War II from 1943-1946 Frank served his country in the United States Army. At wars end he was honorably discharged from the Armed Services.
A lifelong resident of Lawrence, Frank is survived by his wife Ruth A. (Roberts) Sullivan, Children Brenda Sullivan of Methuen, Frank Sullivan of Lawrence, his sister Edna and her husband Robert Arnfield of Salem, NH, and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday morning at 10 o’clock in Saint Mary’s Church of Lawrence with burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
Friends may call on Monday from 8 A.M. - 9:45 A.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
