Eleanor M. (Barberick) Harkins, of Reading, passed away on Tuesday May 6, 2008 at the Daniels House Nursing Home. She was 84 years old.
Born in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Wentworth and Rosalie Barberick. Eleanor was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grand mother and friend. She will be missed by all.
Eleanor was the beloved wife of the late Albert Harkins. She was the devoted mother of Debby Stratton and her husband Jay of Reading, and Linda Robinson and her husband Wayne of FL. Loving grandmother of Stefanie, John and Matthew Stratton all of Reading, Kevin Robinson and his wife Amanda of Florida and Michael Robinson of FL. Cherished great grandmother of Rylan and Gavin Robinson. Dear sister of the late Ruth Maser. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Friday at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Eleanor’s Life in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. Reading at 9am.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Thursday 4-8pm. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot off Linden St.
