Marjorie M. Powers, 83, passed away on May 5th, 2008. She was born in Boston on August 3rd, 1924 to her parents Raymond and Emily (Gillis) Bell. She has been a long time resident of Medford. For several years, Marjorie worked at the Saltonstall Building as a Clerk for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband, the late Edward Powers. She is survived by her children Edward Powers and his wife Deborah of Melrose and Nancy Nolan and her husband Kevin of Wakefield; her grandchildren Amy Cinelli, Julie O’Neill and Kevin Nolan; and by her great grandchildren Matthew Cinelli and Lucy O’Neill. Relatives & friends are invited to attend funeral services from the A.J. Breslin & Son Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden at Medford line on Saturday May 10th at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 9 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday May 9th from 4-8 PM.
