WORCESTER Jack D. Banfill, 45 of Worcester died Saturday May 3, 2008 in his home.
He leaves two daughters, Jackee Banfill and Kara Banfill and her fiancé Josh Murphy all of Worcester; his sister Karen Farraher. He also leaves the mother of his two daughters Shirley A. Covington and her fiancé Sol Surabian, and many aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his sister Laurie Augusto. He was born in Worcester, a son of Beverly (Kinney) Geraway and Jack Marozas.
Mr. Banfill worked for Norton Co., and previously for Interstate Brake before retiring due to disability. He was a graduate of Burncoat Sr. High School. He enjoyed music, reading, puzzles, writing, and most of all spending time with his family. Jack was a very special person, and loved by all who knew him.
A calling hour will be held in the funeral home on Friday May 9 from 9:00 to 10:30 am. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 am in Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster St. HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St. is directing arrangements.
