Mr. Edward Robert Hill, Jr., beloved husband of Carvina Williams, of Medford, died at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford on Saturday, May 2, 2008. He was 47 years old.
Born in Dover, New Hampshire on August 14, 1960, he was the beloved son of Edward R., Sr. and Billie (Perra) Hill of Sunapee, New Hampshire. Mr. Hill was a graduate of and Harvard University, class of 1982 and Boston University School of Law, class of 1987. He was a partner at Rubin and Rudman Law Firm on Rhowes Warf in Boston. He was a former member of the Harvard Radcliffe Chorus and enjoyed extensive travel. He had achieved the level of Eagle Scout and loved watching the Simpsons. Mr. Hill always loved to try a new restaurant as well as going to concerts. He traveled to see “Grateful Dead” 60 times and enjoyed taking batting lessons from Bill Buckner. He was a big fan of the New York Giants and the Boston Red Sox. Mr. Hill also liked to brew his own beer at home. Above all, Edward was a real family person, always spending time with his beloved wife and two sons.
Besides his beloved wife, Carvina and his loving parents, Edward R., Sr. and Billie (Perra) Hill, he will be sorely missed by two cherished son’s; twins Edward R. Hill III and Andrew J. Hill, both of Medford, dear siblings; Jeff Hill of New Hampshire, Debbie and her husband Christopher Progler of Texas and David Hill and his wife Lula Hashi of California and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral service was celebrated in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Saturday, May 10, 2008, at 10 AM. Many relatives and friends attended. Visiting hours were Friday, May 9, 2008, from 4 to 8 PM. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
