Obituary

NASHUA, NH– Anna G. (Gondeck) White, 91, of Nashua died Monday, May 5th at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua. She was the wife of the late Francis J. White.

Born in Dracut on December 27, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Jonathan and Josephine (Targ) Gondeck.

Mrs. White was educated in Dracut schools and graduated from Dracut High School. She then attended and graduated from Lowell Teachers College in 1938. She was a school teacher at Dracut Elementary School. She then worked as a teacher in the Cambridge school system and finally in the Waltham school system until her retirement. She was a member of the Teachers Association in Waltham. She was also an avid reader and artist, loved her cats, and was a very stylish lady.

Mrs. White is survived by her close cousins Mildred Targ of Nashua NH, Jeff and Kathy Targ of Dracut, Paula and Butch Gagnon of Hollis, NH, Jessica Targ of Dracut, Jeffrey Targ of Aviano Airforce Base in Italy and a nephew Jonathan Butterfield of Vancouver, WA.

Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Thursday from 11:30 to 12:30PM. A graveside service will be held at 1PM at St. Casimir Cemetery in Pelham, NH. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorial contributions be sent to MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Rte. 28, Methuen, MA 01844.
