Obituary

WORCESTER___Milton A. “Brother” Pierce, Jr, 68, of 21 Dillon Street, died Saturday May 3, 2008 in his home.

He leaves a brother, Daniel S. Pierce and his wife Jean of Waltham; three sisters, Marcia Kopp and her husband George of Marlborough; Ardelle DeFrancisco of Shrewsbury and Jean Bursey and her husband Bob of Florida; and many nephews and nieces. He also leaves a very dear friend, Anne Marie Farrell of Worcester. He was predeceased by a brother, Brian L. Pierce and a sister, Pearl Chase. He was born in Waltham, a son of Milton A. Pierce, Sr, and Gertrude E. (Smith) Pierce and later lived in Shrewsbury before coming to Worcester 15 years ago.

Mr. Pierce was a truck driver for more than 20 years for Red Star Express. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was a member of Teamsters Local 170.
