William Earl Byford, age 77, passed away Monday, May 05, 2008 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, North MS in Oxford, MS. He was born to the late Elton and Bessie Jones Byford in Coffeeville, MS and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked many years at Heat Craft/McQuay in Grenada and has served as a deacon at Calvary Baptist Church in Coffeeville, MS from its inception.
The visitation will be at Seven Oaks Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be at 2:00 Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Calvary Baptist Church in Coffeeville, MS with the committal following the service at the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. James West will officiate the service.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Jaco Byford of Coffeeville; two daughters, Marlene Parker (Sonny) and Gail Holloway (Larry) of Coffeeville, MS; one brother, Charlie L. Byford of Coffeeville; two grandchildren, Misty Edwards (Tim) and Kyley Holloway (Ingrid); and one great grandchild, Erica Dawn Edwards.
