Corey A. Conward, 25, of Dartmouth died Friday May 2, 2008 unexpectedly at home.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Walter A. and Cynthia (Oliver) Conward, he lived in Dartmouth all of his life.
Corey was a graduate of Dartmouth High School, Dean College, and Johnson and Wales University, where he received his Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. He participated in football, basketball, and track at Dartmouth High School, and football at Dean College. He was an active member of Phi Kappa Sigma at Johnson and Wales.
Survivors include his parents; his daughter Michaela Joyal Conward; his companion, Ashley Joyal; a brother, Michael Conward of Miami, FL; a sister, Kelli Conward of Fall River; his grandfather, Benjamin Oliver of Freetown; three nieces and a nephew; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
His Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday from 4-8 PM. For directions and guestbook, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com
