Martha Sue Lannom, 73, Clarksville, died Thursday, May 1, 2008, at Montgomery County Care and Rehab. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Sunday at Pleasant View Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Lannom officiating. Visitation will be from 1 pm until the hour of the service Sunday at the church. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born July 5, 1934 in Montgomery County daughter of the late John and Bertha Arms. She was a member of Hilldale Baptist Church. Ms. Lannom was preceded in death by her husband, Gentry Lannom, and three sons, Clifford Byard, Joey Byard, and Eric Lannom. Survivors include three sons, Dwayne Byard (Debbie), Kenny Lannom (Sue), and Steve Lannom; one daughter, Judy Horton (David); four brothers, Ralph Arms, Phillip Arms, Charles Arms, and John Arms; fifteen grandchildren and twenty four great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hilldale Baptist Church Building Fund or Pleasant View Baptist Church.
