Manchester– Denise M.A. (Brabant) Barbeau, 81, of Manchester and Estero, Fl., died April 30, 2008 at the Joanne’s House At Hope Hospice in Bonita Springs, FL after a brief illness.
She was born in Montreal, PQ, Canada on September 20, 1926 the daughter of Oscar and Adorilla (Campeau) Brabant and had been a resident of Manchester most of her life.
She enjoyed ceramics, and painting while raising her children.
She is survived by her husband Andre Barbeau of Manchester and FL, 4 sons, Richard Barbeau of Goffstown, Pierre Barbeau of Mesa, AZ., Philip Barbeau of Manchester, Denis Barbeau of Manchester, one daughter Louise Leahy of Durham, 8 grandchildren, 3 sisters Gaetane Faille of Greenfield Park, Quebec, Pierrette Mullins of Metcalfe, Ontario, Jeannine Campbell of Repentigny, Quebec, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her infant son Paul Barbeau.
In Her Life: She leaves 8 grandchildren, Sarah, Nicole, Michelle, Sean, Morgan, Erin, Leila, and Ethan.
SERVICES:Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 8 pm at the J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 676 Montgomery St..
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 AM in Parish of the transfiguration. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
