LOWELL- Phyllis M. (Wewiorski) Molda, 80, a resident of Lowell and former longtime Dracut resident died Wednesday April 30th, at the Life Care Center of the Merrimack Valley in Billerica. She was the wife of the late Walter J. Molda Sr., who died in 1999.
She was born in Lowell on May 22, 1927, and was the daughter of the late Francis and Mary (Wozniak) Wewiorski. She received her education in Lowell schools.
Mrs. Molda spent her life tending to the needs of her home and family.
She is survived by three sons Richard J. Molda of Dracut, Franklin Molda of Belmont, NH, and Walter J. Molda of Lowell; three daughters Ann Molda of Dracut, Theresa Boyle of Lowell, and Irene Reilly and her husband Dennis of CA; two brothers Andrew Ogiba and his wife Violet of Dracut, and Karol Szafran of Lowell.
She was also the mother of the late Wanda Tennant, the sister of the late Mitchell Wewiorski, and Walter Szafran, and the sister-in-law of the late Katherine Szafran, and Mary Szafran.
Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Tuesday from 4 until 8 PM. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday at 9 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 AM at Holy Trinity Church in Lowell. Burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Lowell.
