WORCESTER-Keith R. Lapierre, 29, of Worcester, formerly of Oxford died Friday, February 21st in West Warwick, RI, from injuries suffered in a fire. He leaves his wife, Tammy M. (Bovat) Lapierre; a son, Ryan S. Lapierre of Worcester and was expecting another baby; his parents, Richard O. and Karen L. (MacKay) Lapierre both of Oxford; his maternal grandparents, Edward and Rose (Limanek) MacKay of Whitinsville; his paternal grandparents, Roland and Claire (Bassett) Lapierre of Hernando, FL; a brother, Jonathan E. Lapierre of Webster; a sister, Crystal M. Crossman of Oxford.
He was born in Milford and grew up in Oxford before moving to Worcester. He wasagraduate of Oxford High School and Worcester State College. Mr. Lapierre taught in the Worcester Public School system, previously he was employed as a stockbroker for A&G Edwards and Sons for 5 years. Mr. Lapierre served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves from 1992 until 1994; including training with the Navy Seals. He was a Southern Worcester County All Star in baseball and football at Oxford High School and also played baseball and football at Worcester State College. Mr. Lapierre was a member of St. John’s Church and the Marine Corps League and was an avid golfer and loved music and sports.
The funeral will be Thursday, February 27th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue with a mass at 10:00 AM in St. John’s Church, 40 Temple Street. The burial will be in North Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are Wednesday, February 26th from 4:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Keith R.
