Antoinette M. (Del Genio) Cunning, 92 of Medway, died, Thursday, May 1, 2008 at the Mary Ann Morse Nursing & Rehab. Center in Natick. She was the wife of John N. Cunning who died in 1970.
Born in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey on October 15, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Carmela (Monica) Del Genio. Mrs. Cunning was a resident at the nursing home for the past four years and formerly resided in Medway.
Before her retirement, she worked at the former Granet Corp. in Framingham for many years and had previously worked at Wonder Bread, formerly in Natick. She was also an accomplished stitcher in the garment industry in Boston for many years.
Mrs. Cunning was a communicant of St. Joseph Church and was a member of the Catholic Daughters. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family.
She is survived by a brother, Michael Del Genio of Medway and several nieces and nephews.
She was a sister of the late Ralph and Louis Del Genio, Loretta Panechelli and Joseph Del Genio.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Monday, May 5 at 9:15 a.m. from the Ginley-Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber St. in Medway followed by a funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, 151 Village St. in Medway at 10 o’clock. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Medway.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4 – 7 p.m.
