Obituary

Bollhofer, Thomas S. age 50 of Edgewater, NJ formerly of Huntington Station, Long Island died Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Beloved husband of Mary (nee) Bussanich. Devoted father of Thomas S. Bollhofer, II and his wife Kathleen, and Jason D. Bollhofer. Loving stepfather of Danielle Crespo and her husband Eric, and Michael A. Mirkovic. Devoted son of Elizabeth Bollhofer and the late Harry. Loving grandfather of Anthony Thomas, Christopher, and Andrew Bollhofer, and Gabriella Crespo. Dear brother of Jeanne Fry and her husband Jim, Laurie Haddock and her husband Steve, and Kathleen Gregory and her husband Michael. Loving son-in-law of Domenica and Steve Bussanich. Brother-in-law of Joan Scrivanich and her husband Al, Anthony Bussanich and his wife NickiAnn, Annie Matesic and her husband Walter, and Steven Bussanich and his wife Lori. His memory will also be cherished by his many loving nieces and nephews. Thomas was the Chief Technology Officer at the Law Firm of Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle, LLP in New York City for over 20 years. He proudly served in the US Air Force for 12 years having received the Meritorious Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal, and the Longevity Service Ribbon. Thomas was also a parishioner of Annunciation RC Church where he enjoyed teaching his 5th grade CCD class. The memory of Tom is that of a selfless person. His willingness to forever put himself second will live in the hearts of those whose lives he touched. Funeral Service Saturday, May 3, 9AM from the Volk Leber Funeral Home 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell, NJ then to Annunciation RC Church, 50 West Midland Ave., Paramus, NJ for a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment to follow at Madonna Mausoleum, Fort Lee, NJ. Family and friends are invited to visit Thursday 6-9PM and Friday 2-4 & 7-9PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home. Additionally, a memorial service in Tom’s Honor will take place on Saturday, May 10 at 11AM at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 11 Ogden Court, Huntington Station, Long Island. In lieu of flowers donations in his name to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and mailed to C/O Dr. Leonard Saltz Department of Medicine – H917, 1275 York Ave., New York, NY 10065 are appreciated by the family.
