Obituary

Lydia A. Lendry,, 95, of Greenville Avenue, Johnston, a lab technician for Parflex Rubber in Providence, before retiring in 1975 died Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at Miriam Hospital. She was the widow of Roland J. Lendry.

Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Joseph & Lydia (Decato) Tondreau. She had been a resident of Johnston for twelve years and had previously lived in Providence. She was a member of the Aime Forand Senior Citizens Assoc. and the Cherry Hill Residence Assoc.

She is survived by her children Carole Tedeschi and her husband John, of Lincoln and Donald Lendry and his wife Barbara, of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, seven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and a sister Albertina Dion, of Bradenton, FL.

Her funeral will be held Friday at 10 am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence at 11 am. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Eleanor Slater Hospital, Zambarano Campus,Patients for Progress, 2090 Wallum Lake Road, Pascoag, RI 02859.
