Martha Myrtle Pruitt, 79, Clarksville, died Monday, April 28, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. Bob Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 PM Wednesday and from 11 AM until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born January 26, 1929 in Montgomery County daughter of the late Virgil Hunt and Mary Allen Hunt. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Pruitt. She was a life long active member of New Providence Baptist Church where she and her husband raised their two children. Survivors include her children, Mark G. Pruitt (Kathy), Clarksville; and Joan Snyder, Keller (Dan), Keller, TX; and two grandchildren, Kyle and Ryan Snyder.
