Obituary

Manchester– Germaine (Villemure) Pilotte, 97, died April 28, 2008 at the Warde Health Center, Windham after a period of declining health.
She was born in Manchester on September 16, 1910 the daughter of Ferdinand and Rose Anna ( Lussier) Villemure.
She attended local schools and resided in Manchester all her life. She spent her life as a homemaker. She was a longtime communicant of St. Jean Baptiste Parish, now the Parish of the Transfiguration.
She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother whose family was the center of her life.
She was a member of the St. Anne Sodality, the Third Order of St. Francis, the Presentation of Mary Lay Associates and the Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Africa Associates, Les Coeur Joyeux and other organizations during her lifetime.
Comfort and joy were provided to her during the last days of her life by the Sisters of Mercy and the Staff at Warde Health Center.
She was predeceased by her husband Philippe Pilotte who died April 28, 1975 and two sons Rene Pilotte and Andre Pilotte.
Members of her family include 2 sons, Maurice Pilotte and Ronald Pilotte both of Manchester, 3 daughters Sr. Lucille Pilotte, Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Africa, Holyoke, MA., Sr. Rita Pilotte, Sisters of the Presentation of Mary, Manchester and Mrs. Donald (Denise) Labrie of Meredith., 18 grandchildren, 29 greatgrandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 at the J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 676 Montgomery St., Manchester.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 12 noon in Parish of the Transfiguration. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
