Salem, NH – James F. Sheehy III 67, died Monday at his family residence.
He was born in Lawrence son of the late James F. Sheehy II and Mildred (Lowell) Sheehy.
Mr. Sheehy had been employed with Rechoid for 15 years and most recently as a machine operator with Malden Mills.
Jim was a member of the Lawrence Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH), the Derry-Salem Elks Lodge, the Arlington Social and Athletic Club, the British Club, and was an avid sports fan who loved golfing.
A longtime Salem resident he is survived by his ex-wife Mary (Donnelly) Sheehy, children; Jamie Scott of Methuen, Patricia (Comeau) Cronin and husband Joseph of Haverhill, Daniel K. and wife Anna Larina of Lowell, brothers William and wife Dorothy Brennan of North Andover, and John Sheehy of Methuen, 6 granchildren, Joseph, Nicholas,Travis, Declan, Tihan, and Yanina as well as many nieces and nephews.
James was predeceased by his sister, Marilyn Donohue.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday morning at 9 o’clock in Saint Monicas Church.
Friends may pay their respects on Friday from 3-5 & 7-9 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
