Gaudette, Eleanor (Wadsworth), 90, in Plymouth, of Duxbury formerly of Norwell, died peacefully with her family at her bedside in Life Care Center of Plymouth, after a period of failing health. Loving wife of Richard A Gaudette for 68 years. Mother of Peter L. and his wife Jean Eufrazio of Plymouth, Stephen A. and his wife Cheryl of Wanamass, NJ, and the late David A. Gaudette. Grandmother of Susan M. Carle, Pamela L. TenEyck, David P. Gaudette, Daniel A Gaudette, Rebecca J. Gaudette, and Joshua Gaudette. Sister of Mrs. Richard “Alice” Davis of Plymouth and the late Loring L “ Spike” Wadsworth and Elizabeth Hallaren. She also leaves 11 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, Deedee Gaudette of Carver and her loving niece Beth Hurley of Norwell. Visiting hours will be held at Richard Davis Funeral Home 373 Court Street “Rte 3A” Plymouth, Ma. Sunday May 4, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be Monday May 5, at 12 noon in the First Parish Church 24 River St.. Norwell Ma. Burial in the Washington Street Cemetery Norwell. Mrs. Gaudette went to Norwell Schools and Norwell High School class of 1934,graduate of Burdett College,was a Past President and member of the Hanover Garden Club, Honored by the James Library with a Certificate of Appreciation for decades of service and Past Chairmen of the Board, she was the longest continuous member of First Parish Church of Norwell, Served as President of the Ladies Alliance at First Parish many times, and loved her family and home.
