Mrs. Maria N. Sansivero, 95 of Medford died Sunday at her home following a lengthy illness. Wife of the late Frank Sansivero.
Born and educated in Orsonga Italy, daughter of the late Joseph and Maddelena (DiBenedetto) D´Alleva. In earlier years, she worked in the garment industry sewing clothing and leather.
Mrs. Sansivero was a deeply religious woman and a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Very family minded, she enjoyed cooking, particularly fine pastry. She liked to spend time gardening.
She leaves a son Rocco Sansivero of Medford and his wife, the late Annita (Fondi) Sansivero. Loving Grandmother of Eduardo Fondi, Mary and Frank Sansivero. Great grandmother of 2 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Maria DiRico of Medford and Luigi “Gene” D'Alleva of Astoria, NY. Sister of the late Domenico, Francesco, Raphael Camille and Vincenzo D'Alleva, Teresa Fondi and Serafina Scenna. Funeral from Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 10:30 am. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 11:30am.

Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
